Uluwatu and Kuta, Bali, Indonesia

The spiritual home of surfing in Asia remains one of the best spots throughout the continent. The environment is full of sandy beaches and pristine waters, inviting surfers of all skill levels.

Riyuewan, Sanya, Hainan Island, China

One may not immediately think of surfing in China – but Hainan Islands’ ideal geographical position makes for a beautiful surf spot. 

The benefits come from a relatively untouched area – perfect for surfers to catch some magnificent waves in a quiet location.

White Beach, Okinawa, Japan

The Japanese surfing population has exploded, and there is no shortage of places in their homeland to ride some waves. White Beach in Okinawa is incredibly popular with surfers worldwide.

Cloud Nine, Siargao Island, Philippines

There’s a reason why it’s called Cloud Nine – it is absolute surf heaven! This right-hand wave is one of the best in the Philippines, if not the world. And since it breaks amongst the pristine coral, it can be dangerous and is better off for the advanced surfers.
